We have a private area where you can talk to us about your medicines or general healthcare. Ask to speak to the pharmacist on duty. ‘Our care goes beyond simply dispensing your medicines’

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines

Do not hoard medicines – it can be fatal. Return unwanted medicines to us for safe destruction. Do not put them in the bin or down the toilet.

Managing your medicines

We offer a special free advisory service available from the pharmacy for patients having difficulty with their medicines or requiring more detailed advice. This is particularly valuable for those people taking a lot of medication and may not know why or how they should be taking them. If you have any question please ask our pharmacist.

Minor Ailments Scheme

If you are suffering from a common minor ailment and are entitled to free prescriptions, our pharmacist will be able to give you advice and if required, medication free of charge, without having to see your doctor. Further advice is available from our pharmacist. Click here for more information

Prescription Collection Service

We can collect your prescription from the Health Centre on your behalf so that your medicine is ready to pick up when you want it. Please ask the pharmacist about this service.

Prescription Delivery Service

We can deliver prescriptions if you are housebound or infirm and do not have a carer who can fetch them for you. Telephone our pharmacist for more information.

Simple Aids to Daily Living

Andersons Pharmacy is a participating retailer for simple aids and equipment that can be used to make the activities of everyday living easier. We redeem community equipment vouchers issued by the Southern health and Social Care Trust or enable you to purchase equipment privately. We offer advice and support on the pieces of equipment that have been prescribed to help you.Click here for more information

Stop Smoking Service

Our pharmacist will be able to give you advice and support to help you stop smoking. This service, free for the public to access is funded by the Public Health Agency (PHA) and the programme of support will last for up to 12 weeks. If you receive support while trying to stop smoking your chances of success are greatly increased. Please ask for more details. Click here for more information
